Friends, here's one look at some aspects of how we went from simple one-room local schoolhouses -- that taught kids facts such that our nation was strong and free for two centuries -- to public schools that serve as way stations on the school-to-prison pipeline with half of the half that graduate in need of remedial when they enter college; it's not a complete picture -- that's on another web page, link coming soon.
